Interreg III B Project "BaltCoast"

A pilot initiative on Integrated Coastal Zone Management in the Baltic Sea

Supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as well as national, regional and local co-financing the Interreg III B Project "BaltCoast" (2002-2005) supported concrete Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) pilot projects in the Baltic Region and developed recommendations how to link spatial planning and ICZM.

The International BaltCoast conference in 2004 served as a discussion forum. Major project information and results are available for download:
