The board of EUCC-Germany is elected every four years by a general assembly of EUCC-Germany members. The board is comprised of six members, with the following German states each represented by at least one member: Lower Saxony/Bremen, Schleswig-Holstein/Hamburg, and Mecklenburg-West Pomerania.

Regional Focus: Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Baltic Sea.
Thematic Focus: Federal state planning and regional planning, marine spatial planning, integrated coastal management.

Scientist and lecturer at the Institute for Ecology at the University of Bremen.
Regional Focus: North Sea
Thematic Focus: Vegetation ecology, vegetation changes in consequence of changes in land use, nature protection and beach and dune management, biological invasion.

PD Dr. Gerald Schernewski, Warnemünde

Scientist at the Leibniz Institute for Baltic Sea Research Warnemünde (IOW) and lecturer in distance learning courses at the University of Rostock.
 
Regional Focus: Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, the Baltic Sea.
Thematic Focus: Applied coastal water research and coastal zone management in the Baltic Sea.

Thematic Focus: Flood protection and protection of sandy coasts, harbour engineering, construction assessment, risk analysis and management, impact of climate change and climate change adaptation in River and Coastal Engineering
